Local Policing Report - February 2016

The West End Local Policing Team has just published it's Performance Summary for February 2016.

The main points of the report are:

Since January, Quality of life calls have reduced by 3 from 7 to 4
(Drug/substance misuse - 1 and public nuisance - 3)

There was 1 reported Housebreaking from a garage and 2 reported thefts from motor vehicles.  1 Vandalism was reported.

Overall reported crimes were down by 4

The local policing team are based at Whinhill and request that if any suspicious activity is seen they are contacted, either as an emergency on 999 or on the Police Scotland Service Centre at 101.

Withdrawal of bus fare cards

First Aberdeen have announced that from 3 April 2016 they no longer be accepting fare cards on bus. 

The bus company are introducing new ticket machines intended to speed up boarding times. As part of this process, fare cards will be withdrawn from use.

Anyone who has a fare card can call into the First Bus Travel Centre at 47 Union Street and a refund will be arranged.

Customers who use fare cards and are looking for an alternative ticket product, can look on the First Aberdeen website for a list of products.
