Are You Community Minded - We Need YOU!

As a result of changes in individual circumstances some of our members have had to withdraw from the Community Council.  We are keen to co-opt new members.

If you live in the area, are community minded, want to ensure that Braeside and Mannofield continues to flourish and have a bit of time, why not vounteer to become a member of the Community Council.

Drop us an email if interested and we can contact you and discuss the implications and details.

We are desperate to co-opt someone with a knowledge of and/or an interest in Planning issues to consider Plannig applications on behalf of the community as a whole.

Without new members, the Community Council is in danger of being disbanded.

Litter Problem

It has been noticed recently that there appears to be an increase in the amount of litter being dropped or deposited in the area.  Please, it is untidy, unseemly and unhealthy to drop unwanted papers, food, cigarette ends and other items in the street.  On top of that it is also a criminal offence.

Have a pride in your area and show some respect for the environment and your neighbours at the same time.  Take your litter home with you and dispose of it as you would any piece of household waste or place it in one of the many litter bins situated around the area.

Please encourage your children not to litter and let's all work to a litter free Braeside and Mannofield.

The Mannofield Church will be holding a litter pick up and invites volunteers to join them after their morning service on Sunday 23 October 2016
