and
between 5.30am on 29th January and 10.00pm on the 26th March Countesswells Road between the Craigton Road and Countesswells Avenue will be closed to traffic.

The work is required to allow pumping main and electricity cables installation works, and carriageway remedial works.

Inspector Ian McKinnon says, "Over the coming month we will be continuing our focus on crime patrols in areas affected by break-ins or car crime.
Members of the public continued to be of great assistance to us in December by reporting
suspicious activity at the time it was occurring, thereby giving us the best chance of recovering
property and detaining suspects.
As an aside, it is a good idea to review your home security every so often - think about how you
would get into your house or garage if you were locked out. If the answer is "I can't get in" then
you are in a good place (though not so good if you were actually locked out).  If you see weakness somewhere, there are usually simple remedies.
As ever, we are always appreciative of calls from members of the public reporting suspicious
activity, and would encourage you to trust your instincts in this regard."

The local policing team are based at Whinhill and request that if any suspicious activity is seen they are contacted, either as an emergency on 999 or on the Police Scotland Service Centre at 101.
