Police Report - June 2017
The West End Community Policing Team have issued their performance summary for June 2017. The style of the report has been redesigned to take cognisance of the local policing plan. That plan identifies 4 priorities for the team, namely:
Acquisitive Crime (Homes/Cars being broken into)
- Acquisitive Crime (Homes/Cars being broken into);
- Drug dealing/use;
- Antisocial Behaviour/Disorder;
- Road Safety and Road Crime.
There
continues to be a spread of Theft by housebreaking incidents across the area. People
are again asked to make sure doors are locked and keys stored securely.
There
are also a number of thefts from motor vehicles. Once again a plea that all vehicles are
locked and personal belongings removed from view or, even better, taken inside.
Overall
acquisitive crime remains low.
Drug dealing/use
Please continue to let us know about any suspicion of drug dealing or use. Intelligence we receive will always be actioned.
Antisocial Behaviour/Disorder
Once
again, early information on Anti-social behaviour or disorder will assist in nipping incidents in the bud.
Road Safety and Road Crime
No general comment.
