Regarding the Roads comments on traffic lights phasing at Great Western Road and Anderson Drive, it is stated that priority demand is for Anderson Drive. That is the opposite of what was predicted by the Roads Department when awaiting completion of The WPR. The promise was that roads into town would then be given greater priority. That aside, it is obvious that priority or not, it can’t be ignored that even one or two cars must be given a chance to make an essential right turn on or off on to the main road north and south. Why does it take so long to create a safer solution?
