Prohibition of Driving - Cranford Road (5 May - 8 May)

Aberdeen City Council has made an order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 on 5th May, 2026 until 17:00 on 8th May, 2026, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Cranford Terrace, Aberdeen, from its junction with Cranford Road to the boundary between number 4 and 6 Cranford Terrace.

An alternative route is available via Cranford Road, Broomhill Road and Morningside Gardens and also on Cranford Terrace, Aberdeen, from its junction with Morningside Road to the boundary between number 28 and 30 Cranford Terrace.  An alternative route is available via Morningside Road, Broomhill Road and Morningside Gardens.

There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the same stretch of roads

Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.

The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones

The measures are necessary to protect public safety during repair works being carried out by Scottish Water.
