Core Path Consultation

ACC are looking to invest £1.2m over 3 years to improve core paths.

What is a core path?

Aberdeen City Core Path plan provides a network of routes so the public can access different areas easily. Aberdeen's plan aims to build a complete network of paths across the city, offering opportunities for everyone to enjoy healthy and sustainable travel and leisure. These paths also support broader goals such as improving health, education, transport, tourism, and community development.

The current improvement plan has identified 21 core paths that would benefit from some improvement to enable and encourage wider use.

Ideas have been proposed for the improvements, but these are not ‘set in stone’ (please pardon the pun) and a website has been created to allow feedback.  Feedback can take the form of ‘are the proposed ideas appropriate’ or ‘are there and issues that have not been taken into account, such as winter specific issues?’.
