Farewell
At the last meeting of the Community Council, Police Scotland's Sergeant Simon Lewis-Dalby intimated that he was attending his final meeting. He is being transferred to a temporary Inspector role in Northfield. Members wished Simon well in his new job and all agreed that our loss was Northfield's gain.
Simon has been a regular attendee at the Community Council meetings and has worked with members to increase the safety, reduce crime in our area and answer our policing queries. The Community Councillors have always appreciated Simon's plain speaking, no nonsense approach and he will be missed.
We look forward to welcoming Simon's colleague Sergeant Richard Dickens to our future meetings.
