Summer Time
Some of you may have noticed that our plant pots at the Airyhall Library have blossomed into a feast of colour. The Community Council purchased the plant pots four years ago and have topped them up with an annual supply of bedding plants.
This year, we decided that the pots themselves were looking a little bit the worse for wear and had planned to refurbish them and give them a lick of paint back in April. Then along came COVID and the lockdown restrictions.
However, over the past couple of weeks, with the easing of restrictions, all the plant pots have had a couple of coats of paint applied to them and today, we have planted out some bedding plants that have been very kindly provided by the City Council.
The Community Council members all hope that the refurbishment and planting, bring a little brightness to you as you pass by the library.
Can we just say thank you to Aberdeen City Council for providing the plants and to those who helped paint and plant...you know who you are
