Withdrawal of funding for the No 52 Bus service - update

With the future of the No 52 bus service unclear, the Community Council has written to First Aberdeen asking for clarity.

The withdrawal of council funding does not automatically mean the cessation of the bus service.  It is for First Aberdeen to consider the continuation of the route based on a number of factors, including its profitability.

It is the Community Councils hope that First Aberdeen will continue to run the service as the “Young Person Travel” card will ensure the fares are paid by the Scottish Government and should make the service profitable.
