Major Road Closure - Seafield Roundabout 7-14 May

Road Maintenance works are to be carried out at the Seafield Roundabout between 7pm and 5am each night between 7 May and 14 May, as a result there will be a total prohibition of driving on Seafield Roundabout

There will be no driving on Anderson Drive between Queens Road and Great Western Road.  Cromwell Road will be closed to traffic between Forest Avenue and Anderson Drive and Countesswells Road will be closed between Anderson Drive and Springfield Road.

There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the same stretch of road for the durations of the works. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owner’s expense. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. 

The following alternate routes are suggested : 

• From the North. @ Kepplestone Roundabout Westbound along Queens Road – Springfield Road – North Deeside Road/St John’s Terrace/Great Western Road – Anderson Drive/South Anderson Drive 
• From the South. @ Great Western Road junction Westbound along Great Western Road/St Johns Terrace/North Deeside Road – Springfield Road – Queens Road – Anderson Drive 

• Traffic on Countesswells Road/Seafield Road: @ at Countesswells Road/Seafield Road junction divert eastbound traffic down Countesswells Road – Great Western Road – Ashley Road – Cromwell Road 
• Traffic on Cromwell Road: @ Rendezvous Roundabout divert westbound traffic up Forrest Avenue – Queens Road- and follow the diversion for Anderson Drive north traffic
