Aberdeen Citizens Advice Bureau - volunteers
How do you fancy taking on the role as a volunteer adviser or administrator within Aberdeen Citizens Advice Bureau? Or what about volunteering to be involved in advising social policy, fundraising, IT, communications, social media, and beyond? Can you contribute to the work as a member of the Board?
The Aberdeen Citizens Advice Bureau are always looking for volunteers to help.
The Bureau is an independent charity which was founded in 1939, for the benefit of the citizens of Aberdeen, to provide advice and assistance to anyone in need.
The charity is manned by volunteers advisors and overseen by a board of volunteer directors. The board in turn are scrutinised by the Members of the charity.
All training is given for these wonderfully fulfilling roles and the time commitment is very flexible.
The volunteer numbers at the Bureau fell during and after COVID and the Bureau are very keen to recruit a new cadre of volunteers. Without volunteers the Bureau cannot function and there will be no help for those in the need in the City.
