Road Closure - Craigton Road, Cranford Road, Duthie Terrace

Aberdeen City Council has advised that, between 08:00 on 28 May 2026 and 17:00 on 3 August 2026, Craigton Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Great Western Road and the eastern boundary of No. 10 Craigton Road will be closed.

Cranford Road will also be closed between its junction with Great Western Road to a point 10m south eastwards. 

Duthie Terrace will also be closed at its junction with Great Western Road. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.  

An alternative route is available via Countesswells Road, Springfield Road, Craigton Road, Gordon Road and Gordon Terrace. Also, Duthie Place and Hammerfield Avenue to the south. Diversion routes will be signposted. 

There will also be a prohibition of waiting on both sides of Countesswells Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Craiglea Avenue and Great Western Road. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owner’s expense. 

Restrictions will be demarcated by yellow ‘no waiting’ cones. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during works for Scottish Water.  Any queries regarding this restriction can be directed to Contraflow on 01738 449901, or scottishwater@contraflow.co.uk
