Road Closure - Part of Northcote Road

Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 on 29th June, 2026 until 17:00 on 17th July, 2026, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Northcote Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with North Deeside Road and Northcote Park. An alternative route is available via Braeside Terrace, Springfield Road and North Deeside Road

Also on North Deeside Road, service road, Aberdeen, from its junction with Northcote Road to the gable end of number 62 North Deeside Road. An alternative route is available via North Deeside Road

There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the same stretch of roads. 

Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. 

The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones

The measures are necessary to protect public safety during works being carried out by SSE.
