Braeside School Site - Planning Meeting

The planning application to build 30 homes on the site of Braeside School in Braeside Place was due to be before the Aberdeen City Council Development Management Committee at their meeting at the Town House Thursday 25th May 2023 but was postponed until 10am on Thursday 1 June.

At that meeting, a number of objectors to the plan, including the Community Council, presented their concerns to the Committee members.

The Committee agreed to a request from one of the objectors who suggested a site visit in order that councillors could view the impact of the development on surrounding houses. As a result, the
decision on the application has been postponed until next Thursday (the 8th June) to allow Councillors to carry out a site visit.

Following the visit, the councillors will return to the town house where they will consider the application and give their decision on approval or refusal.
