Community Council Elections 2021
It is time, once again, for the Community Council elections to take place.
Community Councils are established by the Local Authority as set out in the Scheme for Establishment of Community Councils. All Community Councillors are volunteers who have an interest in their local area and who have been elected by their local communities.
Becoming a Community Councillor in Aberdeen gives you an opportunity to play a vital role in decision making.
Braeside and Mannofield Community Council has a maximum capacity of 12 councillors. The minimum number to constitute our Community Council is 6. We are desperately in need of volunteers to consent to being nominated in our area.
The elections for Community Councils will be held on 7 October 2021 which means there has never been a better time to get involved. You don't need any special skills or experience, anyone who lives in the Community Council area and is on the electoral roll can get involved.
