Road Closure - Craigton Avenue

Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 until 17:00 on 15th October, 2026, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Craigton Avenue, Aberdeen, from its junction with Craigton Terrace to the boundary between number 13 and 15 Craigton Avenue, Local Access Only. An alternative route is available via Craigton Terrace and Craigton Road.

There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the same stretch of road

Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. 

The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones

The measures are necessary to protect public safety during poling works being carried out by BT Openreach.
